Christmas Day!!!

Lily had a fabulous Christmas!!  She received loads of presents, taking us quite a while to get through them all but we loved every minute of it.  Needless to say, Lily preferred playing with the paper than the toys but i'm sure that will change over the years.  We hope everyone has a brilliant Christmas and all the best for 2008!!

Finally!! Real Food!!

Lily took her very first taste of real food (well that is if you can call baby rice real food) today. I can't tell if she actually tasted very much of it as there seemed to be more coming out of her mouth than I was putting in. I think she is going to enjoy food very much and I can't wait to get cooking and have lots of different things ready for her in the freezer!!

3rd & Final Jags

Lily received her 3rd and final set of jags this month (well at least until she's one!).  I felt so sorry for her as it was three individual jags in her legs and I can't blame her for screaming blue murder!!! I would too!!

Merry Christmas to you all, and christmas piccies will follow shortly after the new year.  All the best for 2008 xxx

2nd lot of Jags

Today is the day of Lily's second lot of jags.  I'm not looking forward to taking her as she screamed blue murder last time.  Its such a shame as she gets jags in both legs, its bad enough the first one, never mind while she's still screaming they jab her in the other leg too!!  Well seeing Daddy is working and I am the baddy!  I took her to be weighed yesterday and she weighed a staggering 12lb 10oz (ok that was with her clothes on) but I can't believe she is doing so well.

I can't complain as I am getting a full nights sleep, with Lily going at least 10 hours between her last feed at night and her waking in the morning.  Richard and I have got our night back to relax and have some "us" time.

Lily's Naming Day - 7 October 2007

On 7 October 2007 Lily was welcomed to the world by friends and family during a naming day celebration held at Motherwell United Services Club.  Rev Derek Hughes came along and prepared a lovely mini service to welcome Lily.  It was a fabulous day and Lily behaved herself extremely well.  Not a peep out of her, even after all the photos!  We would just like to thank everyone for their gifts and wishes on the day.

11lb 4 1/2 oz and gaining daily! :)

On Monday 15 October, Lily weighed in at 11lb 41/2 oz at 11 weeks old.  Time does fly when your having fun!  She is sleeping through the whole night so we can't really complain.  She is an angel!
